Working Group on Central and Eeaster Europe
The activities of the Working Group are focused on veteran organizations belonging to the WVF in 12 countries, i.e.: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine.
Its main objectives concern:

cooperation of veteran organizations to create a neighbourly community in this part of Europe; |

exchange of experiences regarding formal and legal veteran rights in each country, especially on regards social and health issues; |
| - |
exchange of experiences regarding the current social and economic standards of veterans, as well as methods for defending their interests; |
| - |
exchange of experiences regarding the cooperation of veteran organizations with military units, military reserve and youth; |
| - |
exchange of experiences regarding media and publication activity, and |
| - |
development of joint-viewpoints at international forums concerning key issues for this part of Europe. |
